The Barrington Council for the Gifted and Talented (BCGT) is a
non-profit organization of parents and educators
whose common purpose is to support gifted education in School District 220. On this website you will find information
about BCGT, the events we sponsor, newsletters, contact and membership information and links to other
interesting resources. We hope you join us!
We are looking for some enthusiastic parent volunteers to join our board for next year.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with your children's education and advocate for
extended services in our district. If you are interested in a board position or just helping with a specific event, we
encourage you to email us at bcgt@bcgt.org. BCGT is an entirely parent volunteer run organization and without your help and participation, we cannot continue to provide
the programs, advocacy or networking opportunities for our membership.
